Camping Abbreviated = Picnic

What can you do when you really, really need to get away, to go camping; but you also really, really don't have the time? Go on a picnic-camping style.
What I mean is, make a day trip to a campground and build a fire. Bring some food and cook it there. Stare into the fire, away from the city, away from your cares.
This doesn’t take as much time and effort as camping overnight. And even just a couple hours with camp food and a fire will give you the break you need. |

Unlike a picnic in the park, a meal around a campfire is close enough to camping that you'll get a bit more relaxation without
having to put up a tent, stay the night, or break camp in the morning.
Just add some variety to your family activities and you'll be amazed at the result.
